Professional Development

State and national speakers share effective methods of instruction and educational ideas as part of the Leadership Institutes sponsored by OCIC.

Each year, OCIC provides informative and relevant professional development that prepares educators to excel with curriculum standards, curriculum innovations, and accountability systems.

If your district's systemic professional development plan includes using data to inform instruction and implementing the state academic content standards, OCIC professional development is an acceptable use of federal funds under NCLB if approved in the District Consolidated Application.
